Argentine Ants Rule the World

This article from the BBC says a single mega-colony of ants from Argentina has spread around the world.  I am not surprised.  I am pretty sure they have their central command in my back yard.

Visited a school in mountains above Cachi today. 108 kids up to 9th grade. Kids happy to see us. Principle not so much. Her name is Dora. Pray for her.

Made it.

Tire slashed by rocks. Spare tire padlock jammed with dirt and wouldn't open. Lubed it with Vicks Vapor Rub. That worked. Made it to Cachi.

We're leaving Salta now. Headed for Cachi. Left some chairs behind to make room for Daniel Gonzalez to go with us on this leg.

Kangoo is loaded with 50 chairs. The back latch broke. Tied it with rope. Feel like the Beverly Hillbillies.

Carita and I are off like turtles to Cachi. Only 1200 km to go.
