Spring has finally arrived south of the equator. The yard has been looking like the Sahara from lack of rain, so we bought some new flowers. Becky took the pictures. If I had time I would look all of these up and impress you with my botanical knowledge. I do know that the pink tree is a Lapacho. It is the probably the only one unique to Argentina. They are pretty spectacular when they bloom. This one is in front of our neighbor's house. There are also a couple of shots of our Bougainvillea, known here as a Santa Rita.
